Founder and VP of Operations, TruWerks LLC
With over 15 years of telecommunications experience, Heather thrives on doing what’s “right and fair” for all parties. Heather has a Bachelors’ degree in Business from Indiana University and a Masters’ degree in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University. She has been both a customer and a service provider, which easily allows her to relate to both parties. She has worked through hundreds of billing issues with clients until resolution, often gaining bill credits for contractual billing errors or contract renegotiations. As a telecom analyst with a multi-billion dollar company, Heather saved the company over 20% in annual operating telecom expenses by diligently managing the telecom spend and creatively finding better solutions to meet growing needs. These efforts ultimately streamlined operations, while offering tight controls and optimization ability.
She is married to Mike and they have 3 smart, sporty and sassy daughters: Maya, Alana and Ayla. She loves to play tennis, lie on the beach, and cheer on her girls while they play basketball, volleyball and tennis! Heather hopes to inspire moms to “go with your gut” and know that they can have both a fulfilling career and still be a great mom.
